About
EL BOUM
EL BOUM (Jasmina El Bouamraoui) is a Berlin-based illustrator and visual artist building colourful, figurative archives against erasure. Their work is rooted in craft, sports, visibility and Moroccan heritage.
After a BA at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), she completed a Master's and Postgraduate Masterclass at Kunsthochschule Weissensee, and won a Cross-Category Award at the World Illustration Awards 2025.
EL BOUM has held Goethe-Institut residencies in Cairo and Helsinki, and her award-winning work has been featured by the AOI and included in It's Nice That's coverage of illustration and social justice. Working from their Berlin studio, EL BOUM takes on editorial illustration, murals and brand collaborations, and advises organisations on colour, visual identity and creative direction.
