# THE ART OF SILENCING

This project is a tribute to image based activism and its consequences. I put my focus on the people who try to document and criticize important incidents through their work with images and data and are therefore chased by the goverment.
The aim was to give a face to political detained people, to acknowledge their work and spotlight their cases.
Additionally I made a series of cards of each activist with their personal quote.

In 2015 the poster was awarded with the Honrable Mention Prize and exhibited in Taipeh, Taiwan, during the TISDC - Taiwan International Student Design Competition. Furthermore it was awarded in the Design Toolkit Poster Battle 2016 "No Selfie Thought No Culture", International Student Designers Poster Contest as one of the 50 top-rated entries and it made part of the exhibition in Thessaloniki, Greece.
